But this new year is not like the previous. This year also begins the start of a new decade. That means that this year should be the year that you “shed” your old self and look to the next decade. This is the year to put your life on a growth path towards your goals, your dreams, and your success. But with growth can mean some pain and in order to truly grow you first need to shed.
Let this year be the year that you shed bad relationships, bad opinions, and bad opportunities. There comes a time when you have to decide what in your life is taking up more time than it is worth and get rid of the things in your life that don’t help push you towards your dreams or goals.

2.) The next tip we think will help is to start visualizing positive outcomes. Visualize your dreams coming true and imagine what that might feel like for you.
3.) Push through your road blocks. Problems will come up and may make you feel out of control, this is where your goals may become derailed. Its important that during these moments you really focus on tip one and two. These will help keep you from falling into a negative loop. Then focus on how you want to move forward and right it down in a journal. When you find yourself getting stuck read your plan and re-visualize yourself achieving your goals.
